Rubber Duck Cars is a family-owned independent car dealer, specialising in the purchase and sale of affordable, quality used cars as well as servicing, MOT and repair.

Founded in 2020, the business quickly outgrew its 20 car site and moved in summer 2021 to a 120 car capacity premises with workshop facilities at the Vroom Car Retail Park in North Shields. In 2024, Rubber Duck Cars opened the Gateshead branch on the Felling bypass, adding much needed capacity with space for an additional 90 vehicles.

We employ a friendly, customer-focused team who are proud to deliver affordable cars in an easy to deal with, no-pressure manner.

We’re delighted to share that Rubber Duck Cars has been named in the Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 for 2026, coming 33rd out of the 50 fastest growing businesses in the region.

We’re also the only car dealership on the list, making us the North East’s fastest growing car dealer!
